Escape..can't make dining or entertainment reservations prior to 60 days out??

In a couple of days, I will be at 90 days from sailing on the ESCAPE. A PCC has informed me that since it is on the ESCAPE; dining and entertainment can only be made 60 days ahead of the sailing date regardless of your cabin or suite category. Paying the entire cost, although it is well before the final payment due, has no bearing on this policy for this ship. I have without incident purchased a dining package and shore excursion.

I have taken him at his word. Correct? :confused:

Don't take him at his word. That has not been the experience of other people. 100 days out for suites and 90 days out for everybody else.

That was not my experience.

 

Mine actually opened on day 92.

 

This was for the Norwegian Escape sailing departing 11/11/15 (the 3-nighter)

No reason to book in advance. When you board you will be given a preview of events happening throughout the cruise and you will have no problem booking what you want the first day onboard.

Also in a non-suite and we booked our entertainment on Escape 90 days out. Just after we booked, we got an email from NCL reminding us we were 90 days out and booking was open.

I disagree - the -away ships and I anticipate the Escape will definitely need a bit of preplanning.

Hello Ciara01...from one Michigander to another. Thank you. I took the advise of the CruiseCritics and booked entertainment and dinning this morning! I did want to pre-book Tappas but it is not available. I am told that it is an a la cart and cannot be pre-booked. The same with Food Republic.
