retdon Posted November 7, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 7, 2015 Coming back to RCL for a family cruise and after being on Holland America so many times we will miss their policy allowing passengers to purchase a bottle of liquor for consumption in their cabin. Has anyone heard any rumors, have any thoughts or know if RCL may change their policy and allow this????? It sure does cuts down on the "smugglers" and there is no problem with "drunks" on HAL. Merion_Mom Posted November 7, 2015 #3 Share Posted November 7, 2015 *I* can predict the future. NO. ;) RC is pushing drink packages as THEIR solution to the "smuggling problem". I have no idea if it has helped with that, but I sure see A LOT of people with the packages.

retdon Posted November 7, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted November 7, 2015 don't hold your breath. sail Celebrity you want that option. Holland America allows this, didn't know Celebrity did. As for drink packages, we like our cocktails but those packages run $50+ a day per person, that is a lot of drinks, more than we could handle. Have 5 (or some water, soda, coffee etc) and you're in front
