Rare Lois R Posted January 4, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2016 Hi girls, I just ordered this from Magellan's and was wondering if any of you have tried it before. I am flying to Amsterdam in April. I have a travel pillow but thought I would try this one....... http://www.magellans.com/itemdy00.aspx?ID=116,3658&T1=MIF184+GR
Sandy Sails Posted January 4, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 4, 2016 (edited) Hi Lois! :D Exciting cruise you have planned - only a few months away now! That travel pillow looks great - love the squareness and the fact that it inflates/deflates. Sometimes microsuede pulls on hair but I really doubt they'd actually make a pillow that does that, lol. So no worries, it looks perfect! Enjoy your planning! You're so good at it! Edited January 4, 2016 by Sandy Sails

caviargal Posted January 8, 2016 #8 Share Posted January 8, 2016 DH likes travel pillows (I cannot be bothered) and had one of those. Last year I bought him a travel pillow from MyPillow.com. It is a small version of a regular pillow, same shape and construction. It now goes with him everywhere.

northernphoenix Posted January 17, 2016 #10 Share Posted January 17, 2016 I use the Eddie Bauer pillow that is actually filled with a travel blanket. Place the airline pillow inside and use your own downfilled blanket. Ours have a strap to attach to your carryon .
Rare Lois R Posted January 23, 2016 Author #11 Share Posted January 23, 2016 Well, I got the one from Magellan's and already sent it back......didn't work for me. I ordered one on Amazon and am waiting for it. I looked at the one from Eddie Bauer and still deciding if I want to try that one.
Rare cruisemom42 Posted January 24, 2016 #12 Share Posted January 24, 2016 I've never found a travel pillow that really worked for me. Or at least one that had any benefit over the ones supplied by the airline. But this one intrigued me -- has anyone here tried it? http://www.amazon.com/Trtl-Pillow-Scientifically-Support-Washable/dp/B00LB7REFK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1453652888&sr=8-1&keywords=trtl+neck+support+travel+pillow It seems to get some pretty good reviews, but who knows how unbiased they are....

Froufie Posted January 25, 2016 #15 Share Posted January 25, 2016 Thanks for posting. I'm going to order one and try it. It's easy enough to return if it doesn't work. Looks intriguing and reviews are good - I have the inflatable/suede cover type and don't really like it at all - and doesn't work well for me - would love to hear your feedback if you get it.... I did purchase this one - but have yet to try it out: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001DYDAEK/ref=pd_luc_rh_sim_02_03_t_img_lh?ie=UTF8&psc=
