mysusie45 Posted January 18, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 18, 2016 Any tables for two in MDRs on Crown Princess? Husband is very hard of hearing and prefers not to be seated with large groups. Thanks for any info.
Rare cr8tiv1 Posted January 18, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 18, 2016 Yes, the Da Vinci MDR had a row of couple tables in the back on the right hand side. 5 or 6 maybe. I was at a table for two. The tables are very close to one another. We became friends with another couple (whose husband had profound hearing loss). Yes, that close. Can't speak of the other dining rooms or any where else in Da Vinci. It was a surprise that I was assigned a table for two. Generally, my travel agent requests a table for 6 or 8. Papa Yoda Posted January 18, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 18, 2016 Yes as cr8tiv1 says - but even better is a 4 top set up for 2 - it depends but we've managed to get them on some cruises. See the maitre'd at the "change tables" times - earlier the better (2:30pm usually is the first chance) and point out your needs.
floridalover5623 Posted January 18, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 18, 2016 They really don't like to give out tables for 4 to be used for only 2 people and will limit the number assigned so check in with the Maiter D as soon as he's available on embarkation day. The line forms 20 to 30 minutes before he begins to see people. Check your Patter for location.
victory2020 Posted January 18, 2016 #5 Share Posted January 18, 2016 Yes, there are tables for two in every dining room. Not all of them are bench seating next to each other.
Colo Cruiser Posted January 18, 2016 #6 Share Posted January 18, 2016 Any tables for two in MDRs on Crown Princess? Husband is very hard of hearing and prefers not to be seated with large groups. Thanks for any info. They will also take a 4 top and make it a 2 top versus those bench seat right on top of one another.

shredie Posted January 18, 2016 #8 Share Posted January 18, 2016 There are a few tables for two at the back of the restaurant, some near the windows. These are the separate table with chairs, not the banquette with tables very close together.
