NCL`s new 1,2, or 4 Free Perks Promo

Just for kicks, has anybody found a way to add the free restaurants to the free booze?

If you are just after final payment, you can cancel your booking and they will withhold 25%. Then make a new booking with the current promo. It could be worth it for you to pay the penalty it if allows you to go from zero perks to 2 perks.

I booked during the last pick 2 promotion and got free restaurants AND free booze. Well, I had to pay 18%.

 

It's unlikely that you'll be able to add this if you're past final payment but you can ask if there's anything NCL is willing to do. If your TA is willing, of course.

We booked right before the new promo and I asked out PCC if there were any new promos and he told me no they would remain the same, I was very upset to see the pick two and same price, we spoke with a supervisor, who was going to speak to our PCC about strongly encouraging us to book and new giving us straight info, she did admit, he was in the wrong but claimed she couldn't do anything for us!

Yes we are! And I understand rules just pissed he told us the promos were the same!

I chose dining package as the second choice. Is this normal? Or do I need to start looking for a new TA? New to cruising so not familiar with how much I should expect from him.

Rates change...sometimes daily-Keep checking-You should be able to rebook at your old rate. Also check with another TA. Sometimes TAs don`t feel like working...

I booked thru CAS. I called today to see if I can add the 2nd choice. They said no problem to 2 cruises. One in August and then November. Great deal. 2 promos plus 3/4 free! Just keep calling back. It depends who answer and wanna help.

I read the Promo to be Pick 2 in Oceanview, Balcony or MiniSuite....All 4 in a Haven or Suite.

Is your booking done in Canadian dollars? Part of the cost could be that you are now paying the higher exchange rate on the Cdn dollar. We had that happen when we tried to add 2 perks from the promo. We were going to pay about two hundred dollars more on the exchange rate and about $700 for the 18% gratuity for the UBP. It was going to cost us about $1,000 more for the two free perks so we declined. We have a 21 day cruise.

I changed my perks on the cruise I'm booked on right now. The catch was I had to pay the price difference from what I was paying to the new price. Usually if the price goes up, even a dollar, they'll let you do that. If the price goes down and you haven't made your final payment yet then they will still let you do it. I haven't tried having paid in full and then changing the perks with the same or lower price yet.

Was your original booking with a casino offer (free cruise)? I called today, but they told me I can't get the pick two promo because my original booking was with a free inside cabin, even though I am paying the upgrade for a balcony. :(

I am paying in CAD but the service charge for adding the dining package still wouldn't amount to that much. After some digging it turns out that my TA was getting a price based on everybody in the room getting the dining package, my 10 year old son, being the third passenger, would pay the regular price for his. Maybe next time I'll cut out the middle man so there's less confusion.

The whole thing is misleading. For our 14-day on the Breakaway next January, my TA said adding the "free drinks" would cost something like $183 per person, in anticipated gratuities. Never mind if you don't drink to capacity, you still owe that at time of final payment (or maybe at time of reservation). There is a similar charge for gratuities for the dining. I bet there is also a limit on the shore excursion refund (what if you don't take 4 excursions, or even any at all?). I finally decided on the 250 minutes free internet, because how could they mess that up?

After a bit of deciding I upgraded us to an ocean view for my Alaska cruise. Two perks was enough to push me over the edge.

The third person gets nothing for free you have to pay full price for any package. My sister is cruising with two other friends in her cabin and are splitting the cost 1/3 each for the third person to be fair.Hope this helps!

Between 3 and 6 meals depending on the length of the cruise. Only for first two passengers.

Third person gets nothing. They are free to purchase a beverage package, but this is not required.

when we booked our 10 day panama for this march it came with just one perk and now I see you get 2 for a mini suite so I called ncl and they said id have to cancel and re book my trip which has gone up 1,200 per person so its not worth the $$ to just get one more perk ck before you do anything you'll regret cause nothings really FREE !
