Just read about the bed configuration..and it got to thinking.

 

The couch in the room....can you sleep on it ?

 

Is there a refrigerator in the cabin ?

 

Is there a safe in the room ?

 

How many closets and drawers ?

 

We have a balcony on Deck 8.......

My teenage son slept on the couch although it's not that big and curved shape if I recall. Yes, there wad refrigerator. Lots of storage.

Couch is more like a love seat so guess it depends on how tall you are. Not the most comfortable

The couch is a sofa bed. It can be pulled out a bit and made into a bed.

 

I've laid on it and it felt comfortable enough. It's perhaps a bit short for an adult, but our son has slept on it often and says it's fine.

The couch in the room....can you sleep on it ? Yes. It is designed to be an extra bed if needed. There is sometimes extra pillows and linen hidden in the compartment behind the sofa back. The back swings open like a cabinet door.

 

Is there a refrigerator in the cabin ?Yes, but it is a mini-bar. You can ask your steward to empty it for your personal use, if you want.

 

Is there a safe in the room ? Yes. In the wall cabinets.

 

How many closets and drawers ?One closet. No real drawers. Cabinets with shelves (even along the top of the room). IF you have a connecting room (see deck plan) you do lose a lot of storage space because of the door to the next cabin. We always make sure to get a non-connecting cabin.

We were in cabin 8113. There was a hanging full length closet along with a smaller one that did my shirts and at least 3 drawers down below that. There is loads of space, the sofa bed the backs pull out to give more storage and there is two extra under the sofa.

That would have been Fat Cats but that venue is transformed into a Beatles place since her dry dock.

 

Best guess is deck 7, Maltings, maybe the live musician at Shakers next to that. Manhattan MDR? Bliss and Spice H2O aren't even near jazz. ;)

Seems that everyone has answered your questions perfectly. But if you want even more detail then go onto youtube and type in 'NCL Epic balcony cabin'. There are loads of detailed videos about the cabins and a few specifically on deck eight as well.

 

This one is quite detailed on the storage/safe/fridge which you were interested in.
