We are looking forward to joining QM2 in Dubai in April on its last leg back to the UK.

Please can anyone tell us what toileties are provided?

Are bath robes and slippers provided?

Is there a kettle provided in the cabins?

Cam we buy alcohol ashore at any port and take it on board to consume in the cabin?

Thanks

  • 2 weeks later...

The Penhaligon free toiletries are lovely. I managed to pack a couple to bring home with me.

I've bought wine ashore and it wasn't confiscated but not sure if they would allow spirits but of course you could try it.

The slippers are huge so I never wear them and neither does my husband.

Thanks for all your replies.

Re bringing alchol in Dubai it is not a problem you can either buy before you fly or they actually have a duty free shop in the baggage claim area in Dubai airport where you can buy a wide selction of spirits etc.

You cant buy alcohol in the supermarkets in Dubai and can only buy alcoholic drinks in hotel bars . If you go for a meal in a restaurant they are not allowed to serve alcohol.

Does anyone have any idea what is the lastet time we would be able to check in on the Monday?

We want to spend as much time as possible in Dubai on the day before we sail.

Our plan is to check out of the hotel store the luggage and go to the ship early evening. Will there be someone to check us in?
