Nice souvenirs from Bermuda?

The stuff from the Glass Factory at the dockyard is really fantastic.

 

I visit the Glass Factory every time we cruise to Bermuda. They have lovely gift items there.

 

The Perfumery in St. George is also a favorite stop for me.

What about great quality teas to bring back? Has anyone done this? I don't mean Lipton....that's what I drink, but real British quality teas. We have a friend who loves tea and I'd like to bring some home. Is this okay going through customs?

i've only been on one sailing but if it isnt metal it will make it in your coat pocket back on board if you are worried about it. getting off back in NYC anything you carry off is not screened at all which was sorta weird.

If you take the ferry into Hamilton, walk to your left down Front St. and go for about a block. Look for the sign for Miles Market. You're sure to find some interesting teas, biscuits, jams etc. Things you couldn't find in the states.

Bermuda cedar is increasingly rare, but a small wooden box with a "hog penny" in the lid, is one of my souvenirs, while my wife has a needle point hand bag with cedar handles - from now-gone Trimmingham's, but possibly still available somewhere.
