Peg8148, it was B749, so the pics at the beginning of the thread will be their cabin. It's at the end of this little hallway at the aft end of Baha. Very secluded, and a great balcony.

Knowing from two weeks ago that the lines for breakfast in the MDR were very long, I got up early, headed down at 6:45, and was seated immediately. I had an excellent ham and cheese omelette, bacon (which was perfectly crispy), hash browns, and toast. When I left at 7:45, there was a very long line to get in, so if you want a MDR breakfast, go early. The only downside to breakfast was an Elite table mate with 67 Princess cruises, who spewed vitriol almost the entire time about how bad everything to do with embarkation was, and how much he hated the Port of Vancouver. He was seriously angry. My experience was the exact opposite, and I love sailing out of Vancouver.

Number One Tip: arrive at the port before 10am. You'll be on board well before noon, and can maximize your precious time on board ship on a short cruise like this.

Hung out in the platinum debarkation lounge until final call. There was still a bit of a line, but I was off the ship in less than 5 minutes, at 10:15. Close to 23 hours on board! Once through CBP, which involved just handing the completed card to an officer while walking by, I ordered an Uber to Westlake Station, which arrived in one minute flat. From there I'm taking the Link light rail to Sea-Tac. Sure beats waiting in the massive taxi line.

Another great, albeit short, cruise! Can't wait for the next one!

Until we meet again, Crown Princess!

I was thinking that you were doing the 7 day Alaska as well. Darn!! I totally enjoyed your 1 day blog and was looking forward to the next 7 days :-( Guess I'll just have to wait until next Saturday to experience it myself:p

Thanks again for all the information and the great pictures!

Yes, it seems the casino is closed on southbound YVR-SEA one-day voyages. I'm pretty sure it opened northbound last September, if memory serves.

Thanks for the running log of your embarkation - I would have been there at the same time as i waited for the embarkation line to open - did enjoy a couple of the croissants while waiting.

Had an interesting experience once on the ship - my boarding pass had me in room C608 - i get up there and the key card didn't work - down to the Guest Services - here try this temp key card. After a couple of more attempts I was finally able to connect with the room steward - he opened the door and voila there was already luggage in the room - my name is on the door and he has my name on his manifest - he calls security - they make a quick phone directory inquiry - I am not in C608 but in D303 - which is a mini-suite - go down there and the key card works fine and the steward is waiting - he knew there was a change but didn't have my name on his manifest so he added it - apparently I was upgraded at the last minute - finally realized after I disembarked where I missed the cabin change - when you checked in they give you a ships map booklet and write the room number on the front. While waiting in line for security i couldn't find mind - figured I must have dropped it somewhere - meanwhile someone in the line had found one along with early off #17 which was my group but it didn't say C608 so i ignored it - realize now that it was mind as it said D303.

Once settled in i headed up to Horizon Court for a bite to eat.

I got my disembarked moved up to #9 as I needed to be off early in order to give me time to get across town to the Bolt Bus stop by International Market light rail station. As Platinum I was able to go to DiVinci's and wait there - around 8 AM they announced because things were going so well we could leave early.

So up to Deck 7 - scan off the ship - down thru customs - out the door to the taxi stand and then the 4 mi ride to the Bolt Bus.

Cheers!

Dennis

Thanks for posting. We were on this trip as well.

Wasn't a huge fan of magic to do... thought the men sounded flat when they came out. Only the magician seemed to have any lower to his voice.
