Thankyou Stu....

It doesn't feel like I'm cruising up until our cruise critic bon voyage thread has started...

it is very exciting ... we have had a wonderful roll call with over 180 boarding in Sydney. Our first meet and greet is so big that they have assigned on of the dining rooms as our venue LOL..

There have been numerous lunches organised in nearly all states so everyone can get to know each other... we just had one on Saturday and there was a room of very excited people...

We have around 45 people coming to our night before cruise dinner in Sydney !!

I will do my best to keep the blog interesting and I promise no plugging superannuation funds LOL.... on saying that, I read the world cruise blogs religiously and I have been enjoying Jo's little videos that she puts up on FB... She writes well... I will apologise for my mistakes but I write like I talk... My brain is going faster than my poor little fingers and they can't keep up....:o

I will enjoy having you all along for the ride!!

Laundry rage... What is that.... The only one of us that goes anywhere near the laundry is Garry to do the odd bit of ironing.... The only laundry rage on this cruise will be because we will have to wait so long to get our laundry back...... Too many elites on this cruise

Yes, but laundry rage is good entertainment for us Elites, stand at the laundrette door, watch and listen !! Yes ye olde Elite laundry will be flogged to death on your cruise, they might restrict you to one sock a week, LOL.

Above all, enjoy !!

I was a blue carder once, back in 2004, NO not on the Titanic !! It was on Star Princess our first Princess Cruise. We all have to start at the bottom. The Bronx eh? Bring it on !! LOL.

Now I wonder what the Wealthy Cunarders call the Launderettes on QM2? I know.. 'The Steerage Wash house' LOL.

QM2 25/2 to 2/3 Tasweiga? Mr Gut is on that one. We get on board enroute to HK as he gets off 2/3. Some free upgrades going on the WC sectors inside to Balcony, but be quick !! We snared one.

Remember QM2 is very formal, jackets every night for the male species not only in the MDR but around most of the ship after 6pm.

Geez we have hijacked this thread big time, will be in strife.

Lol,no worries there, one of us at least wears a tux, sometimes both wear one,or gowns or one or the other. We mix it up,and the looks we get are priceless.Couldnt tell you the amount of times females have come to us and said, hell we are going to try that. And thats why we travel with 80 kgs of luggage.:):).Tuxes rock, and so do formal nights,we just absolutely love them.

Wont get in strife this is aus/nz section.

From what i can gather, cunard blueys get to share a wash-board,one per 100 pax.;)

You have to provide your own bar of sun-light soap.
