Just thought this was cool to share, there will be an attempted launch of a spy satellite today at Port Canaveral at 1:51 p.m....if you are at the port you should get a great view!!!

I had a 3 generation cruise on the Disney Dream and the last launch of the Space Shuttle Discovery took off just prior to sail away. Amazing sight for my family to witness.

Local news just said the launch has been scrubbed because of weather.

Apparently it was not scrubbed, friends aboard the Disney Fantasy said it went up as scheduled.

It went up today, I watched it live online because it was too cloudy out, huge rocket! It was scrubbed on Thursday because of weather at the last minute and rescheduled today. So awesome they all got to see it today from PC.

My company has a branch on the second floor of a building in Titusville on A1A right across the water from the VAB. I keep forgetting to have them break something so I can go fix it on a launch day. : / imma have to keep a better lookout for those opportunities.
