geocruiser Posted September 13, 2016 #5 Share Posted September 13, 2016 I have had may dreams about going on a word cruise. I have looked at many of the itineraries. The one thing that I don't like about them is that there are so many sea days. I like sea days but not that many. In my dreams I would choose to do some shorter cruises, like go around South America, circle the Pacific, the round trip form the US going to Iceland, Greenland and Northern Europe and back. I think that you would see more of the world that way. Circle Australia etc.
Rare Essiesmom Posted September 13, 2016 #6 Share Posted September 13, 2016 Believe it or not, there is a board here for World Cruising. You might pop in there and see what folks say. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=833 EM

lidojohnny Posted September 13, 2016 #9 Share Posted September 13, 2016 we have been on two, the Pacific Princess and Hal Amsterdam. It is nice seeing many parts of the world. However, Visa's, tours, and yes sea days can be a hassle. The biggest thing to us was.......after the euphoria is over...........is that big hole in your back account:eek: But, you only live once....go for it ......so you won't regret it.
