Bornbeau Posted November 8, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 8, 2016 (edited) Am leaving on the Summit on Nov 19th and was wondering if anyone knows if there is a chance they will be playing the CFL semi-finals any where on the boat. Really like to watch my hometown Ottawa Redblacks kick butt and make it to the Grey Cup. Edited November 8, 2016 by Bornbeau
twin123185 Posted November 8, 2016 #2 Share Posted November 8, 2016 Am leaving on the Summit on Nov 19th and was wondering if anyone knows if there is a chance they will be playing the CFL semi-finals any where on the boat. Really like to watch my hometown Ottawa Redblacks kick but and make it to the Grey Cup. The Summit had ESPN when I was on it a few weeks ago. They do show some CFL games. twin123185 Posted November 8, 2016 #4 Share Posted November 8, 2016 Thanks glad to hear that, I really do not want to miss the game. Not sure if a semi final game will be on. Usually it's ESPN2 that shows CFL. Good luck from an old time Argonauts fan.... Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Rare cruisestitch Posted November 8, 2016 #6 Share Posted November 8, 2016 Can you get it on line? Your best bet might be to sign up for the unlimited internet and stream it to your own device.
Bornbeau Posted November 8, 2016 Author #7 Share Posted November 8, 2016 It would be a good solution, but with the price that it costs for unlimited internet and then factor in the exchange rate it would probably cost between 300-400 bucks Canadian. I love the Redblacks, but would not be able to justify taht cost to the wife, and she is a Redblacks fan too.

Oskial Posted November 8, 2016 #11 Share Posted November 8, 2016 I'll give you the score in advance. 32 - 18. To-cats go to the cup. Probably some kind of controversy with the refs will be involved. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
albertacruiserx2 Posted November 8, 2016 #12 Share Posted November 8, 2016 I will be on the Eclipse for the Grey Cup when Edmonton will be playing Calgary. I hope they will be streaming it to Comedy Central or one of the bars to watch it. Go Esks Go Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
casper106 Posted November 8, 2016 #13 Share Posted November 8, 2016 I would be surprised if they showed it. They didn't even show the hockey from the last winter Olympics when Canada was in the finals.

RickT Posted November 9, 2016 #17 Share Posted November 9, 2016 Given how little Canadian info is available on board, your best bet is to record the game at home, enjoy your vacation and as soon as you get home crack open a cold beer and watch. I've done this with a few sporting events. Unless I went on-line to Canadian news I never found out what happened until I watched it at home. Go Redblacks Go! Glad to see Henry back as QB. Bornbeau Posted November 9, 2016 Author #18 Share Posted November 9, 2016 For those American cruisers out there who don't know. The Ottawa Redblacks our Canada's Capital team in the Canadian Football League.
