Hawaii - Ship to airport..best way.

Hi - Booked on Pride of America in March. Our "package" brings us to our hotel from the airport, to the ship from the hotel, but not back to the airport. How much would a taxi cost? Really don't love the ships transportation bus. No idea how far the pier is from the airport. Thanks. :o

The port is close to the airport. Abou 5-6 miles. 15 mins depending on traffic.

 

If have a lot of bags, let a sky cap help you at the airport. Your bags need to go through an agriculture X-ray inspection before going to check in and the TSA X-ray inspection. The sky cap will help you with all of the lifting.

Whew! Great to hear that we can just catch a taxi. We pack light. It will be easy.

Depending on what time your plane leaves, you can have a very long wait at the airport. Our plane did not depart until 8pm, so we took the NCL excursion to tour the whole island of Oahu and they dropped us off at the airport around 5:30pm.

Our flight leaves at 3. Means a long wait at the airport, but not much choice. :eek:

We did that in 2014, don't remember exact cost but around $20-30, lots of cabs available:)
