Keep reading the mobile alerts. The latest one said after 4:30PM CST so it should be coming pretty soon. I know it is frustrating, but you will have a blast when you get onboard!

I was told when I called the terminal that the ships wouldn't be going back out today even if they make it in to port.

Not sure what that means for tomorrow

That means that Sunday's ships will most likely be stacked out here as well.

From someone on the Freedom.

The casino is open and the luggage is being brought back to the rooms. Wonder what that means?!?

It means they are expecting a full night on the ship.

I GUESS I WILL FIND HOTEL AND DRINK MY SCOTCH NEAT TONIGHT AT SOME HOTEL. HOPEFULLY I WILL GET ON TMW.

Most likely they have been told by the pilots that there will be no movement until noon, so no further notifications. We haven't heard a peep from the pilots all day, so nothing is moving, and the forecast isn't good. The cruise ships will get priority, but if the pilots won't give a time, there just isn't anything to be said.

On the Breeze now and Captain announced we are slowing down to arrive at 10 AM Sunday.

We just got a Text/Email from CCL about our cruise on the Breeze tomorrow. :(

They said they will let us know tomorrow by 9:00 AM when to show up.

Hopefully the fog blows out and y'all can make it in port early. :)

This just posted by John Heald.

"Well unfortunately The Port of Galveston remains closed due to heavy fog conditions. Consequently both the Carnival Valor and Carnival Freedom will have to remain at sea for the night, in anticipation of the port to open tomorrow, Sunday.

Furthermore, the Carnival Breeze will delay her arrival until Monday.

This is the kind of thing that we obviously have no control over yet I must again thank everyone that )despite the frustration this obviously causes ) for your patience and understanding.

Thank you all

John

Received this earlier from Carnival

The fog in Galveston is not expected to improve until sometime mid-day tomorrow. Consequently, we will now plan to operate a 4 day cruise calling on either Progreso or Cozumel, depending on our arrival time on Sunday. We will provide you specific itinerary details once we have confirmation of our arrival time.

An email with more info will be sent to you.

I just got a message that because of fog Valor's arrival/departure at Galveston is being delayed today - no time estimate given. They asked that people not come to the terminal at their scheduled boarding times.

It's typical for Galveston, that is why we will NEVER sail from there.
