First time booking a guarantee. Twin beds?

This is the first time I've booked a guarantee. In all my other bookings, we've been able to change the twin beds selection online to king (and vice versa). I don't have the option to switch. Is this something that you have to wait for until the assign the rooms? Or do I need to contact my pvp for this?

You may have to wait until the room is assigned. I know I did it online when I had a guarantee but it was a couple years ago.

The option to change shows up after the cabin is assigned.

When you get to your cabin and the beds aren't in the correct configuration for you, tell/leave a note for the room steward. (S)He will fix it at turn down in the evening. Happened to us many times.

Ok sure enough we received our assignment this morning and it was available to edit.

Even if they end up leaving the beds separate, it can be changed with your room steward after you get on the ship. On one of our Alaskan cruises a few years ago, we had requested the beds be together, but that's not what we found upon arriving at our cabin. When the cabin steward arrived to introduce himself to us, we simply asked if he could fix the bed problem for us. No problem. When we returned after dinner, we had one King bed as requested.

 

So....don't lose any sleep over this! There are a few cabins that do not have movable beds in them, but not very many.

should be able to after assigned room, if not no worries tell your cabin steward and it will be done for you when u are at dinner.

Depends on what cabin class you booked, lowest class inside is 1A it ha a double bunk with no other option.
