did I miss something? On Imagination now. Applied $300 Verizon gift cards to my sign and sail account. Went to casino and played $25. Went to cashier to cash out and she said I had to go to customer services. Talked to two people and they said I could not get back cash. Had to be used for onboard services, purchases etc. Don't want any purchases. Am I out the $300? Yikes.

I've never had a problem cashing out the balance of gift cards right at guest services. I've never used the casino method, but I thought it was full proof. Maybe not. Perhaps they are cracking down. Lots of people use gift cards.

Did you load the full $300 onto the slot machine?

Then played $25$

You then should have $275 in your players bank which you can then cash out

That's probably the issue. And as far as guest services, you have to use more than $25 of $300 loaded in gift cards. They're not going to give you 75% of it back in cash.

Thank you all so much. Just went to casino and put my $275 on casino account, played a few $$ and cashed out Got my money. $16 well spent for carnival wifi. Out in the Pacific and pretty fast wifi. Found carnival staff much friendlier than past cruises.

First I was going to say tell GS and casino staff you got it. Then I thought, no don't or they're make sure this can't be done somehow.
