Encore - pre dinner cocktails?

Please excuse me if this has been asked before...

We will be onboard the Encore in just 2 weeks and are very excited to try her out. For those of you who have sailed her, what is your favorite venue for pre dinner cocktails and why? On the triplets (we haven't sailed the O class yet) our favorite was always the club, right at the bar, getting to know the bartender and watching them work their magic. Since the Encore does not have that option, what have your experiences been? I hear TK Grill has an excellent bar but is that reserved for that evening's diners only?

Would love to hear your opinions.

TK grill bar is certainly the busiest and finding a seat can sometimes be difficult. It is open to all pax, not just TK diners. In good weather we would take our cocktails outside to the unused patio area behind TK. On our trip in April the Observation bar was almost deserted pre-dinner with zero atmosphere, ditto the Club.

Yes there is little few music in the observation lounge pre-dinner.

The TK Grill bar is a popular pre or apres dinner venu.

For us the Club would be an apres show venue but there is an intimate little area opposite the Casino which might suit you.

My experience with the Encore's Observation Bar differs. We were on board for 44 days from Dubai to Sydney starting 20 Dec., 2016.

Before dinner as well as after dinner the Observation Bar had a pianist and a singer to entertain you. This made for a very agreeable scene given that the Observation Bar is large with seating at the bar and at numerous tables, some with sofas, and has those magnificent forward sea views.

Happy and healthy sailing!

Thank you. We are not interested in after dinner; we are early to bed people for late diners. But where to go for pre-dinner cocktails is a priority, and you answered that question perfectly.

Sorry, just to correct my previous post which got destroyed by the iPad auto correct.

It should have said there is live music in the Observation bar pre-dinner.

Henry :)

Not the most embarrassing mistake auto correct has made!
