Rala Posted June 17, 2017 #26 Share Posted June 17, 2017 OP Georgia...Not EVERYONE here was SO rude. A couple of responses may have been a tad on the snarky side, but that is what happens on a message board. Personally, I think the "survey" is too long and too detailed, but I hope your group enjoys it, and I wish you all a wonderful cruise! :)
cruiserking Posted June 17, 2017 #27 Share Posted June 17, 2017 It's not a bad idea to get everyone psyched up for the cruise. I would keep it short and sweet. I would suggest eliminating the question "What's the maddest you've every been on a cruise"? try and keep things positive. What's the first thing you do when you go on board? What excursions are you booking? What's your favorite Carnival ship? What's the nicest cabin you've ever stayed in? What's your favorite cruise cocktail? Have a nice meal, serve some frosty cruise cocktails and talk about your cruise. Happy Cruising. Jonathan
CruiseGal999 Posted June 17, 2017 #28 Share Posted June 17, 2017 Think about it .... you have a group of people with a sheaf of papers with 30 questions. You will have about an hour of silence as people think and write out their answers. THAT doesn't seem conducive to your goal.
Rare kazu Posted June 17, 2017 #29 Share Posted June 17, 2017 it's a shame the OP didn't come back. there are some good suggestions here and anyone who really wants to make sure that their companions are going to be enthusiastic should be reading. I hope they are.

cruiserking Posted June 18, 2017 #31 Share Posted June 18, 2017 Another idea; instead of a questionnaire. Why not right all of the questions out on small note cards, put them in a bowl. Have everyone seated and one by one they pick a note card from the bowl and talk in turn of their experience. Jonathan
