Priority debarkation

On the morning of disembaration, suites and zenith can leave at their leisure. Elites and elite plus are given a place to wait with coffee and pastries. They wait until their number is called. Same with concierge. You get a luggage tag number based on your onward plans. If you have an early flight, you request an early number. Or you can self disembark if you can move all your luggage without assistance. So other than suites and zeniths, there really jsnt any "priority disembarkation" for anyone, just a more comfortable place to wait to disembark.

On Summit the Michael's Club concierge would escort suite and zenith guests from Michael's Club (when they were ready to disembark) off the ship, bypassing lines - there even appeared to be a dedicated customs agent for suites/zeniths they were directed to (not sure if that is always the case). Very quick, smooth process. We had a late flight so asked to be among the last group; the concierge received a heads up a couple minutes before final call was to be announced so we could get a head-start before the mad rush when final debarkation is announced. Great perk, but as the other poster mentioned, only applies to suites and zeniths - priority debarkation doesn't mean much for other stateroom or loyalty program categories.

Sailing Summit from Bayonne to Bermuda, and if anyone could provide some info on just how Priority debarkation works.

To get off the ship fast the best way is to self disembark. Realistically, on a cruise to the Caribbean you can travel with just a carry on and small backpack. We have done it a couple of times. Like others have said as long as you can move your luggage you are good to go!

OK. That helps.

We were Aqua last year, and we just grabbed our luggage and went to one of the lounges on deck 4 or 5. When we got there, it was packed, and we waited a bit until we finally started the process.

Michael's Club sounds like a nice and quick way to go.

Just off Summit July 7. Elites were gathered in Sushi on 5. It seems that the people there only had group three or group thirteen. Group three was scheduled for 8:05. The Elite concierge escorted us at 8:09. Luggage was ready and easily accessible. We had about a 12 minute wait at customs.

We were given group 3 without a request and we were driving home to Delaware.
