Windjammer closes early?

We have stayed in Superior Oceanview Cabins on Majesty and had a refrigerator in our cabin. Just to be clear we did not make any kind of special request and it was located inside a cabinet as it would normally be.

I believe it's the lower deck insides and OVs that are missing the cooler on Majesty.

Figuring out which ships do or don't have a fridge isn't really addressing the issue and is the classic "let them bargain themselves down" mindset these companies love for guests to take.

Considering the topic is the WJ closing early, the discussion of a fridge is off topic anyway.....but things going 'off topic' happens a lot.

Who is the best person to contact to voice an opinion that we would like to see late night hours; say 11PM-1AM in WJ for a section to be open.

I would think it would be Chef Suley. He heads up the Food and Beverage Department for Royal Corporate.

Is he still there? His LinkedIn indicates he took a new position in July of this year with another company.

Edit: Perhaps this is the person to try since they also over see Food and Bev; and no Food and Bev VP is listed on the corporate leadership page.

If you recall, the topic arose from the suggestion that passengers take food back to their staterooms from the buffet or other venues so that they can eat it when the Windjammer is closed.

I'd rather RCI matched competitive offerings in the market place and not need the experiences of the forum to create a chart of which rooms do or do not have a "cool box" which I wouldn't necessarily trust for keeping prepared foods at safe temperatures anyway.

It does appear that Chef Suley has moved on. Mark Tamis is Sr. VP of Hotel Operations and that could be a good person to reach out to as well. It seems as if the position of VP of Food and Beverage has been changed to Food and Beverage Director, for which they are currently seeking to fill. It would therefore make sense that this person will probably be reporting to Mark Tamis as Sr. VP of Hotel Operations. Time will tell.....but things are always changing.
