yes Oct 8 out of Port Canaveral. Before that it will be subbing in the Elation in Jacksonville. The hurricane has caused a lot of shuffling. We booked it today.

OK - yes I do see it now. Low price for inside but at least on my end, not a free one.

Have a great time! I'm sitting at work now after doing the crazy running around and packing last night. Will leave here about 11, pick up my other son and get on the road to Jax by noon to hopefully board no later then 3. I've never boarded that late before, but it's ok. Looking forward to the getaway.

They are saying free because you get your fare back in OBC. The cost is actually taxes and port fees, and of course gratuities and what you spend on board.

Bee careful getting there to late, parking becomes an issue at some ports when you arrive later. Have a great time.

My son is disabled so I have a placard - I usually don't have an issue with parking but thanks! I'm usually the one that likes to get there early and be first on board. Last cruise we had a separate package with Autism on the Seas and after the bridal parties we were the first people on board.

Those pesky taxes and port fees!

They have a huge parking lot at Jax Port. I think parking should not be an issue.

I have been getting these free offers for over a week on various cruises. Last Wednesday, I found some that was willing to go at last minute, and it was sold out when we went to book.

I received a free offer for this cruise besides port fees and taxes. BUT, we are having a surprise 50th birthday party at my house for two people Saturday! The timing is not the greatest for me. I have been VERY DEPRESSED in having to turn down all of these FREE cruises.

He needs a lot of downtime, unfortunately. Our last cruise on Magic was so crowded and loud that he had to take frequent cabin breaks. I had decided that was our last cruise .... but then I got this offer (lol). My other son absolutely LOVES to cruise so he is very excited we are taking this one, although he just turned 18 and can't participate in the kid's club any longer.

I'm hoping with the smaller ship and with the stops in Nassau and Freeport ... we will be staying on the ship ... he will have a good time. He loves the 24/7 ice cream! Last cruise he must have had 8 a day.

I'm taking him to Peru over the summer. He loves the site seeing kinds of things to do and it will be much quieter. We are very much looking forward to that.

She is leaving late because she is arriving late. She is in the St. John's River now. I called Carnival yesterday and asked about the offers. I took the one for Oct. 8 from Port Canaveral. Took an inside. Just nice to be on the ship. With this 'down time' due to Maria, I wonder if they are scrambling hoping to move up her drydock which is scheduled for next Feb. EM

Makes sense as Carnival always seems noisy and crowded. We switched to Princess and like you got this irresistible offer. Our only concern is we had to wait for my DH to get leave approval so by the time we could accept we had to get a cabin alk the way in the back, we usually stay near the middle. Hopefully that will be ok.

Well I hope everything goes okay and the experience is good for them. Shows them much outside their normal box.

That makes sense! Does it say when it should arrive is Jacksonville?

Received this offer on Tuesday night but didn't see it until Wednesday afternoon. After scrambling yesterday to find someone to go with me, my brother and I booked 1 of 2 remaining OV cabins for port fees & taxes only....this morning!

Headed up the interstate in the next hour or so from the Tampa Bay area....so excited! Never booked a cruise the same day as sailing.

Coincidentally, I booked the Fantasy 24 hours prior to sailing after Matthew caused tons of cancellations last October. Almost one year to the day. Crazy!
