soxfanattic Posted November 8, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 8, 2017 On the cruisenext website, it says you can use 2 certificates on one room on Balcony or higher expiring 11/17. My travel agent says you have to book more than 6 months in advance. It no longer says that on the cruisenext site. Which is correct?
deeko Posted November 9, 2017 #2 Share Posted November 9, 2017 Hi I was booking a TA and was told that I could only use 1 Cruise Next coupon because the cruise was less that 6 months out. At least its the same story......but a very bad policy. I have a number of Cruise Next vouchers and it would have been helpful to use 2 for a deposit....Ah that's the problem.....it would have been helpful!!! KarimaJ Posted November 9, 2017 #3 Share Posted November 9, 2017 I was able to use 2 but we booked 6 months out in order to take advantage of that.
MikeBTN Posted November 9, 2017 #4 Share Posted November 9, 2017 I was able to use 2 about 3 weeks ago and we were already after final payment - sailing Escape Jan 13, 2018. I'm not sure how long that is/was good for.....
TexasCigarGuy Posted November 9, 2017 #5 Share Posted November 9, 2017 They did the pitch in the Atrium on the Epic today. Same 6 months out for using 2 as mentioned above. Only thing to add was she said anyone that purchased these during the promo, that the 2x would be good for the 4 year life of the certs.
pokerpro5 Posted November 9, 2017 #6 Share Posted November 9, 2017 FYI, as of about a month ago, the system would let customer service reps do this, even if the 6 month thing had long passed. I know because I did it. You just need to find a rep willing to try it for you.
hawkeyetlse Posted November 9, 2017 #7 Share Posted November 9, 2017 Same here, booked just inside of 6 months (late October for mid April) and the phone rep had no problem applying two certificates. The key is even if they say it won't work, you should encourage them to please try it anyway, and see if the system accepts it. Some agents will refuse to do this, for whatever reason, which is your cue to hang up and talk to a different one.
