Hanoverian Posted November 14, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 14, 2017 Not thinking of any specific route or city, but just in case, has anyone had any experience with car hire Blacklane?
howiefrommd Posted November 14, 2017 #2 Share Posted November 14, 2017 Have used them twice (in Europe) and both went seamless. I found their prices a bit higher, but their competency and service made up for it.
cstrick Posted November 14, 2017 #3 Share Posted November 14, 2017 We have used them 5-6 times and have found them very reliable.
Klaus234 Posted November 14, 2017 #4 Share Posted November 14, 2017 Also used them several times (in New Jersey, Rio de Janeiro, Nice, Bangkok), never had any problems, limousines were always clean, driver reliable and on time. Tip is included in the price they quote, so no need to have local cash at hand (important when you have an airport transfer upon arrival and had not yet a chance to change money)

katz Posted November 15, 2017 #7 Share Posted November 15, 2017 African visas for Americans Has anyone gone on an Oceania cruise along the coast of East Africa? Specifically, Kenya, Tanzania and Mozambique. If so, did you obtain the visas on your own or did O provide them? I think they might be referred to as blanket visas? Thank you for your help. Hanoverian Posted November 15, 2017 Author #8 Share Posted November 15, 2017 Thanks very much, everyone, for the helpful replies. We will certainly add Blacklane to our list of "go to" vendors.

I’m Canadian but we did Lisbon to CapeTown in November 2015. The visas were provided for a fee. We did not go to Mozambique. A fabulous cruise. Would do again in a heartbeat. Ha! We stopped at CapeTown! Was thinking of our land trip. Kenya and Tanzania are available at point of landing. So I’m pretty sure Oceania will provide that service. We had the package on our cruise. The only way to go in my opinion. I looked into the requirements forsome of them and it would be very difficult to do yourself.
