I received royal Caribbean gift card for Christmas. We are unable to go on our vacation and have to cancel. Does anyone know how I can sale or return the gift card? Has anyone done this in the past? The gift card was not used to book the cruise. I was planning on using it to book shore excursions in advance. Thank you!

I'm assuming a gift card and a gift certificate for RCI are two different things. I received a $300.00 gift certificate (as a Xmas gift) and haven't applied it to my already booked cruise yet and was just reading the email that was sent to me about it from RCI and it stated it could be used towards anything onboard or just towards my final...as long as it was applied in a timely manner prior to cruise. Is this correct.?
