Exit on the arrivals level.

Follow the signs to the rideshare pickup area(s). These are located between terminals 1&2 and 3&4 on the innermost curb. This is where all Uber driver-partners at FLL meet travelers for pickup.

You exit the terminal from the baggage claim area and there are signs. You'll stand in-between the terminal buildings. It is loud in that area so use the app to communicate with your driver if you need to.

My husband and I cruised on Carnival's Vista out of Miami. At the end of our cruise, we carried our luggage off ourselves and entered the airport information on the Uber App. We communicated with our driver and let him know where we were waiting. I read a post here that people met their Uber driver in the middle section after exiting the port area, so that's where we went. Our Uber driver only took around 5 minutes to get there. He picked us up at 7:52 am and dropped us off at FLL at 8:15 am.

If a person has an early flight and is cruising with Carnival, they have an area to wait for early flights. On the Vista, we went to deck 3 at 6:00 am. Departure was supposed to be at 7:00 am, but was delayed until 7:30 that particular day.

The frequent cruisers and FTTF people were told to go to the Reflections restaurant. When we said that we had an early flight, that's where they sent us too. They had everyone line up their luggage as they arrived, with different lines for frequent cruisers and one line for FTTF and early flights. Then people could sit down anywhere. They had coffee and continental breakfast items. When each section was called, people lined up with their luggage to exit the ship. The cruise director said that they had people line up luggage so that the first to arrive would be the first off of the ship.
