The one time we sailed on Halloween there were guests in costumes and a costume party in the atrium.

Special decoration in the Grand Foyer, and many parts of the ship in addition to the Halloween theme in the OVC, also a party in which everyone dresses as Witch or Vampire.

One of our best cruise events was Halloween on Infinity ABC Islands..Aruba night.

 

Nice ship decor, extra goodies, folks also put up door decor, etc..

 

Big costume party..starting on the pool deck then up in the Club..

Amazing costumes..we just did Halloween Tee shirts with Halloween beads..lots of fun, great dj , and good participation..guests, crew officers

We were in Aruba in 2016 for Halloween on the Infinity. There were more people than just me that brought decorations for their cabin door, so walking the halls was fun. Carved pumpkins augmented the stairwell art. On Halloween itself, they had a costume party on the pool deck. People came in all kind of crazy costumes. The band played some standards like "Monster Mash" and the whole pool area was decked out. Lots of carved pumpkins, loads of them, and "eye balls" floating in the pool, spooky lighting, the whole bit. It was a fun time.

We were on Equinox last year for Halloween. Decorations in a few areas of the ship, and a nice party on Halloween night. Many guests wore costumes - some pretty extravagant. But many did not so you wouldn't feel left out if you didn't.

 

One frustration of mine is that Celebrity never notifies you of these special parties ahead of time. You either have to research past sailings on boards like these, or just take a chance. Would be nice to include some wording on your cruise info or something, but that would involve website updates which we know are the curse of Celebrity:p
