Sailaway on Epic Mediterranean Cruise?

Hi everyone.......back with another silly question. I have heard that the Med. cruises are very different from the Caribbean and we are going on our first one. I always look forward to the sailaway party on deck on the first day and am just wondering if they do that over there, too. It just gets me in the cruise mood, you know? I know there will be no reggae music and all but just wonder how it is sailing out from Barcelona. Thanks.......................Patti

We had a beautiful Sailaway Party last year from Barcelona and i really look forward to attend this year again 😊

What is the party like? I've never been on a cruise before. It sounds fun!!

It sounds fun, good to know, so we dont book a dinner then!

they have a sailaway party on pool deck with music dancing etc

however on Epic they also have Spice H2O at end of ship which has a bar area and is adults only during day

it's a good alternative if you don't want the frenetic activity and music

often used for informal sailaway for cruisecritic roll callers

We have some of our fondest cruise memories with the Epic western Med cruise. Have a great time! You can rest when you get home :)
