Uber or taxi to get to port in fort lauderdale

Walking is the cheapest way, but it could be too far to tote luggage for some folks, especially if you're at one of the far terminals. We've walked from the Embassy Suites and Hyatt Place when departing from Terminal 2 or 4.

Uber will be less expensive than a cab, but probably only by a couple of dollars. You'd probably need an Uber XL for four people with luggage.

Taxi - including minivan/SUV taxi will be about $15 and as mentioned above, UberXL will be about the same or maybe slightly cheaper. Either is a better deal than the per person shuttle rate charged by the hotel.

Regular uber from Embassy on 17th last month was 7.00. That was for 3 people.

4 with luggage, might be easier to get a taxi van than trying to save a few dollars.

The shuttle drivers were hanging around trying to get people on board for 9.00 each.............
