For go karts what do you get for $9.95? Laps, time, etc?

 

I believe the carts are reported to be capable of reaching 30MPH; but there can be bottlenecks which slow things down. 8 laps was reported to be plenty.

Ketchikan

 

We didn’t book any excursions for Ketchikan and just explored on our own. We did a lot of souvenir shopping and photography.

 

It was raining off and on throughout the day.

By recommendation of one of the shopkeepers in town we walked to the Fish House in Ketchikan for lunch. And boy were we glad that we did!

 

We both ordered the fish samplers and split a bowl of salmon chowder. The fish was panko breaded and fried to perfection. You can order beers and cocktails at the bar.

 

The restaurant seating wraps around the back and gives a fantastic view of the harbor, mountains, and the water.
