Hello knowledge bank.:..apart from Windjammer where can we have lunch on embarkation day?

We always head to Cafe 270. I have a salad bowl, DH has a roll or sometimes a pie. A cold drink or tea and coffee then a treat from the pastry shelf or fruit. Usually not so busy. All included.

I agree, cafe 270 is great. There is also the hotdog stand in seaplex, or pizza in the Promenade

Coastal Kitchen for Suite guests only, Izumi has a fee, Jamie's has a fee, pub has a fee. Some sailings have Chops open for lunch with a fee. Unless you have the UDP, then lunches are usually free even though it is not a sea day.

Whilst Izumi Japanese & Jaime's Italian are open for making bookings on embarkation day I have not seen anyone eating at either at lunchtime in the 5 cruises that I have been on the Ovation for.
