The ship left Belfast yesterday, should be 4 sea days on its way to St John’s Newfoundland, but the webcam says “Bound to Ponta Delgada” which is decidedly south of Newfoundland. Wondered if it’s itinerary got altered because of hurricane Florence exiting New England?

Saw a thread where it was said capt changed route due to storms. No idea if it was due to Florence

My mom is on board right now. Has been since the end of August. I believe they diverted because of hurricane Helene that was headed to the UK and Ireland area. So they did not go to Bergen, Belfast, or St. John’s. Instead they went to Vigo,Spain and are now headed for Ponta Delgada Which I believe is part of the Azores islands chain. They are supposed to arrive Wednesday, September 19 from 8 AM to 6 PM.
