sewgood Posted October 8, 2018 #4 Share Posted October 8, 2018 I hope you don't have to swab the decks at that price.
The_Big_M Posted October 9, 2018 #5 Share Posted October 9, 2018 If you’re looking at coral expeditions they’re never going to be cheap.
Aussieflyer Posted October 9, 2018 #6 Share Posted October 9, 2018 Given it's such a small ship and a special itinerary, I didn't think it was overly expensive. Though I probably wouldn't be a candidate.
NSWP Posted October 9, 2018 #7 Share Posted October 9, 2018 Out of my league.:( My credit card is still reeling from my last trifecta of cruises and land travel in Europe, May/June/July this year. Have to get the CC re treaded for next year's adventure.

Though I probably wouldn't be a candidate. Mrs G said something similar, but a grand a day pp. out of my league. But I know people who pay more than that, in fact I’m going to suggest this to a few people, need to look more at the ship itself.

Like the many well heeled Aussies who do these 104 dayworld cruises every year at 100K or more a double when you throw in shorex and a few lemonades. Out of my league too. They must have very well paying jobs or gold plated superannuation.:(:loudcry:
GUT2407 Posted October 9, 2018 Author #10 Share Posted October 9, 2018 Though I was just looking at a Silverseas Cruise 15 days $17k.
Toryhere Posted October 9, 2018 #11 Share Posted October 9, 2018 I have friends who have been on cruises with Coral Expeditions and were very impressed. The prices are similar to the luxury lines. But just think, there will be one restaurant or fewer selections of restaurants, only 1 or 2 bars, little or no entertainment, few organised on board activities, no water slides, no go carts or huge atriums. So why do people pay such huge sums to go on such ships?

So why do people pay such huge sums to go on such ships? Suspect is for all the reasons you listed. My biggest reservation is only 72 Pax, a bit low to get lost in the crowd.
