Drink package question

I've never had to show both cards (but haven't cruised during spring break where I can imagine things would be different). In fact, we've shown one card for three people. We're all connected to the same stateroom/account, so I assume that's why they don't need another card.

Two (2) beverages per person per transaction.

The terms have changed several times from 1 per transaction to 2 per transaction, back to 1, back to 2, back to 1, etc.

NCL currently has both "2 per" and "1 per" on NCL.com under terms and conditions.

In reality, as others have noted, 1 per transaction may require both cards for a day or two but then the bartenders will be fine with just 1 card for 2 people.
