Reviews: Policies for Publication

I went to considerable trouble to write a review of my cruise, and it was not published.  I was respectful and fair.  Why does it not appear on the review page for the Carnival Legend [September 2018]?

Possibly because Cruise Critic 'updated' the website in the last month and they have been busy trying to sort out the problems with the site.

I know it takes a while for the hosts/admin to read and publish the reviews at the best of times.

However, as I never read the reviews, (specially by posters with low number of posts, as they tend to be complaints more than reviews), I can't give you a definitive answer.

You can always put it here in the forums and it goes up instantly.

I would vote for website chaos this past month. Plenty of reviews get 'published' that are not even respectful and fair, so you can rest assured you are not being censured!

I gave up giving my honest reviews a while back. Some sites, wink wink nod nod, have more than a few paid connections with lines. As I type, there are two ads on my screen (Princess and Viking). CC is a money making concern and doesn't want anyone nibbling at the hand that feeds it.
