Liberty Presidential suite/villa - likes and dislikes

With 4 bedrooms, that means a LOT of people in there!  (not a fan of being so close together).  Other than that, I can't imagine any reason not to like it...the balcony is gigantic!

The only "downside" for me, is being located on deck 6.  I like being under the pool deck, since that is where my daytime hours are spent...makes it easy to use the stairs to come and go throughout the day.

You could very well be the only person that like to be under the pool deck.  Talk about noise. 😱

We are in that suite March 1, 2020 and will be interested to hear everyone's like and dislikes.  The one thing I did not like, even though we booked it, was the balcony and the fact that you cannot really stand at the rail and look at the ocean.  But it was the right price for a family vacation.

lovescats5 - please send any comments you have about this suite after your cruise.  Since we have 2 children who will be 6 and 8, we thought it would be easier to have lots of available child care opportunities so the parents can go and enjoy themselves occasionally.  I like to be higher up as well, but just being on this gorgeous balcony will be amazing and having our own hot tub will be nice too.

Hey, cb, in which ship did you have this suite, and how many people were in it?

  • ound this post on line regarding the suite.

Everything was marvelous.  We would book it again if the opportunity arises.  There were 8 of us also and no one felt crowded.  I was impressed at the soundproof state of the walls between rooms.  We were in the suite lounge for coffee in the morning and with MJ, the concierge in the evenings almost every day.  MJ is excellent and quite willing to be at your beck and call.  He also escorts you to the room so be sure and arrive around 10:30...you don't have to wait till 1:00 to get into it.  Refreshments were very good.  It does have a coffee maker, rather like a hotel room one, nothing special.  We had our coffee from the lounge every morning.  The lounge was never what I would call crowded.  Not like the diamond lounge at least.  We had no problems except the large master cabin had the wifi on the wall and it did disturb us blinking its lights, but we kept a towel over it.  We used the hot tub too, but it only fills with heated water, does not continually keep the water hot, so it gets cool after some time.  You should enjoy!

Oh, BTW, there is a refrigerator on the balcony under the bar and it is actually quite chilly.  We kept our waters in there.  Coldest one I have ever seen in our 22 cruises with RCCL.  They supplied a case of filtered water along with a couple bottles of Evian...but you will be charged for the Evian, not the filtered water.
