Crown Princess Tips

We are so excited to now be only 2 weeks away from our longest cruise ever. 10 nights on Crown to S Caribbean. We will be in E733 a Vista suite. Never been in a suite before so extra excited!

For those who have been on the  Crown what are some of your favorite things to do or secret tips to know?

Our itinerary is Aruba, Curaçao, Dominica, Grenada, St. Thomas, and grand Turk.  Here are our plans for each stop tho we are flexible. Love to hear any of your thoughts or alternate ideas:

Aruba -  we want a beach day. We stayed on Eagle beach once and loved it so much we hope to go back and just find a place to rent chairs and an umbrella.

Curaçao -  we are thinking about just walking around and shopping. Is everything close to the ship or do you need to take a taxi to shop?

Grenada - we plan to get a day pass at LaLuna.  Anyone done that and what did you think?

Dominica - we are going to do a private tour with Just Go Dominica so we can do whatever we want on the itinerary.  What are your favorite things to do in Dominica?

St Thomas -  we think we may stay on the ship and just do a relaxing day

Grand Turk -  The cruise port here looks amazing! We think we will just hang out at the beach.

Thanks to everyone who has answered so many good questions and the last several months for us. It has really helped our excitement to grow. Love this for him!

In Grand Turk turn left at the end of the dock. Walk up the beach around 1/2 mile to Jack's Shack. Much better than hanging around Margaritaville.

Being in a full suite, don't forget your Mimosa breakfast which I think is held in Sabatini's, could be Crown Grill.

Club Class dining is in the Da Vinci DR, deck 6 mid ship, I think entrance is on the Starboard side.

Book you free first night specialty dinner, Crown Grill or Sabatini's, by calling the dining line or visiting the restaurant on boarding day. Can not be pre-booked.

Zumba. If interested it is free, every sea day and maybe other days. Usually in Club Fusion. Check the Princess Patter.

We like normally enjoy Crooner's in the evening, usually begins at 9pm. I mention normally because we have come across some entertainers that we did not enjoy.

Totally agree about Jacks Shack on Grand Turk ... definitely one of our go to places just to hang out.

Go to the Jacks Shack website pre-cruise and print out a coupon for a free shot of rum !

Say hey to Jack and Janet ... and watch Topher dig in the sand and play in the ocean

If Kenley comes up to you and states you are in her chair, you may very well be ... she has her name on it...:classic_wink:

Curacao....lots of shopping close to the pier, but would suggest that you take the floating bridge to the old town side of the river.

And don't forget, the floating bridge opens quite frequently. When it's open the ferry runs. But, don't get stuck on the other side of the waterway with little time to return to the ship.

You should try Palm beach. It's only another few minutes down the road & has plenty of places to rent chairs/umbrella's.

Same price on the bus of shuttle.
