Horizon question: Are specialty dining restaurants open for lunch on the first day?

I know the specialty dining restaurants have free smaller meals for lunches, but I wasn't sure if that was the case on the first day when you board the ship?

I know that Cuchina del Capitan (Captain's Pasta Bar), Jiji's (Mongolian Wok), and Pig & Anchor BBQ are open on embarkation day.

The Steakhouse charges but, you get a free bottle of wine while you dine, which is in the evening. The Cuchina del Capitan offers their reduced menus free during the DAY including embarkation day.

To add to the previous response, all of the speciality restaurants charge every night including emabarkation day.
