Monet Gardens to Pier

Recommended Posts

Im planning our trip to the ship and it’s looking like the trams don’t come that close to the hotel to make it worth taking.....  I tried “walking” to the pier on Google earth and the route seems to have a lot of construction and is industrial......  Of course the pictures can be old, or I might not have taken a good route. Any suggestions on the best way to get to the ship with luggage?

I don't know, but I'm keen to find out whether the Money Gardens contain Money Trees.

I would love to have some Money Trees!

I suspect the OP means the Monet Garden Hotel in Amsterdam?

I was confused due the Money Trees! In case the Monet Garden Hotel was mentioned their weibsite gives good directions. Not only public transport but also Uber or cab is possible of course.

Getting from the hotel use that in that in ""mirror" directions. From Centraal Station it is a 10/15 minutes walk to the cruiseterminal or a short tramride on tram 26.

I copy: Arrive at Amsterdam central station then take metro 51, 53 or 54 to Waterlooplein, the 2nd stop from the central station. Use the exit Amstel/National Opera & Ballet and turn left. Walking straight for 4 to 5 minutes and you will find the hotel on your left-hand side.

OP here. Oh my, yes, it is Monet Gardens. I’m not sure if it was my fat fingers or spell check. (Yes, we could use a money garden for this trip.😝

If you are using Apple, it is probably auto-correct. It changes all sorts of things on me; and if I'm not careful to check before I post or send I get some very strange results.

I’ve had the same results. Sometimes it has even changed a word or 2 AFTER I hit send on a text. It was fine when I sent it, and NOT fine afterwards. As in NSFW.😣
