Rare stevenr597 Posted April 22, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 22, 2019 This question has been discussed before, but has not been completely answered. I assume that the Journey will be in Drydock to have some of the changes that were recently introduced to both the Quest and Pursuit, such as elimination l of the Casino. Does anybody know when these changes will be put in place for the Journey? Also, has Azamara learned from its mistakes, specifically do they have plans to spend some more time in Drydock so the Journey will not have to sail, with changes still in progress. That's because there is no definitive answer. I'm sure that the casino will go and the Den and new window staterooms on deck 4 added as per Pursuit and Quest. I have no certainty of the date, but understand it will happen later in 2020 in line with Journey's dry dock schedule. Nothing formally confirmed though. Rare uktog Posted April 23, 2019 #3 Share Posted April 23, 2019 (edited) I see in the 2021-2022 offerings, unlike the other two ships there are no cruises offered for Journey after November 2021- maybe a big dry dock in Singapore? excitedofharpenden Posted April 23, 2019 #4 Share Posted April 23, 2019 There are a couple of weeks later in 2020 that are either chartered or space for dry dock. I believe later 2020 is when she is next scheduled for routine dry dock, but things may change if they decide that, following experience with Quest, a week isn’t long enough. Time will tell. hamrag Posted June 14, 2019 #5 Share Posted June 14, 2019 I cannot find a cruise listed for the 7 nights from 10 August 2019 or 21st September 2019. Are any quick upgrades planned for these dates, or has the ship been chartered for those weeks?
Rare uktog Posted June 14, 2019 #6 Share Posted June 14, 2019 21 September is definitely a charter
audobon_tx Posted June 14, 2019 #7 Share Posted June 14, 2019 It will be immediately preceding the November 2020 Lisbon - Capetown cruise.
