Staying in the 3 bedroom garden villa does anyone know if you get a preference letter or sheet before you go and if so how do you get it ?

We did not get a preference letter, however we called NCL and gave them our preferences about two weeks before the cruise.

You should get a letter and luggage tags 50 days out. If not, email the concierge at NorwegianConciergeDesk@ncl.com and ask for the preference list.

Just call NCL Concierge Line and they will do pretty much anything you need i.e certain beverages, towels, pillows etc... send me a pm with your email I will forward you our letter from NCL.

We have always received our letters exactly 50 days to departure via snail mail.

On our last cruise, we never received the letter, so I called the concierge line to make the arrangements.  It was quick and painless and everything we requested was taken care of.

Are the preference letters only applicable to Haven suites, or do regular suites receive the same thing? We booked a last minute trip on the NCL Sun in a penthouse suite for 5/27/19, and it's our first time in a suite, so we aren't sure what to expect.

Last year we stayed in one of the Owner's suites on the Dawn. Our preference letter came via email about 45 days out, and then at the 30 day mark after I didn't respond to the first one. The luggage tags (alone) came in the mail around the same time.

If you are in a suite, you will get “the letter”. We are on the Sun for the 6/14 cruise and received ours last week.

You should get something by mail (letter and luggage tags - preferences - email Concierge contact)

 

If you win a bid to a suite there may not be time to send and receive the letter in question.

 

Read post #3 above for the contact - NCL about any preferences issues you may have regarding suite.

 

Don't worry too much when you register at the Pier you will meet your Butler and Concierge and there

will be plenty of time to arrange adjust compliment those items mentioned in the pre-cruise suite letter.

Typically if in a Haven Garden or Owners Suite you will get more attention - these suites demand it !
