We sailed that itinerary aboard the Rotterdam. I'd love to be on the Prinsendam again for her swan song. I hope they have better weather at the North Cape than we did! (But it was still a fantastic voyage.)

Were you on the May 25th sailing this year?  We have 12 days out of 14 that rained.  But it was still a good voyage with the North Cape being the highlight for me.

Thank you very much Copper John telling us that Captain Albert is doing his blog on board the Prinsendam .

He is the perfect person to give his wonderful talks about Holland America and the Prinsendam in particular .

We had a fantastic cruise on her in April and May from Lisbon to Amsterdam . It is sad to see her go what a nice ship and a fantastic crew !  Hope very much HAL will get another small ship that can visit all the small and very interesting ports . If they do it right I am sure they will have a large clientele .
