JULY10 code for Viator not working

In this case, I think the OP is in the right place.   The "source of the promo code" is CC itself.  The promo code the OP has flagged as not working is being offered and promoted by CC in a brown banner at the top of the Boards page.  The banner says:  "10% off your next shore excursion -- from Cruise Critic and Viator!   Use Code July 10!."

 

OP:   I am flagging @CC Help Jenn on the Help desk for you here in case she has not yet not seen your thread.

I guess that shows how little attention I tend to give non-red banners.

Do you notice red ones more? It took me a few days before I actually looked at the Log in Issues banner.

Actually, yes. But that may simply be my conditioning.

 

Banners are great, but too often they are used as advertising rather than important (to most users) communications.

Oh I apologize.  I was not aware.  Unfortunately my coworker who set up the arrangement with Viator to give the discount is on vacation.  Perhaps we didn't have all of the details.  I pulled down the announcement until we can find out more.

There is no minimum purchase on this offer.

Here's more information from the viator.com customer service team:

 

Re:  getting an error message that the "code" is not valid.  This is a browser issue.  In terms of the browser issues, unfortunately this is a known issue but not something we can easily change or update. We generally suggest that you clean your cache and cookies and/or open an incognito window.
