We plan on sailing on the Meriviglia next March, we sailed 5 times on the Divina and was wondering how the Meriviglia compares to the Divina, the Divina is one of our favorite ships. We also sailed on the Seaside and found that ship to be inferior (too much glass and mirrors)to the Divina in decor and a lot of loud EDM in the Atrium area which we could hear in the MDR while dining, I think they are going after the Millennials on the Seaside.

The best thing for you to do is read my reviews of a cruise in the Yacht club on both ships

We have been on the Divina twice and the Seaside once.  We sail the Meraviglia this September.  I really can't wait, I am actually hoping it is more similar to the Seaside - sorry but I have to say IMO the Seaside is the most beautiful cruise ship I have been on.  The Divina is really nice, but I really thought the Seaside was just stunning.   Can't wait to see how the Meraviglia compares and seeing the differences of the ship in Europe as opposed to their Caribbean sailings.

I agree with mom2tcdx2.  I sailed on the Divina and Seaside and I thought the Seaside was absolutely amazing.  I loved the Divina also but was really blown away by the Seaside.  Almost every time we passed through the atrium we would stop and get caught up in the party atmosphere.  My wife said the casino smelled the best of any casino she had been in.  Everything is subjective.

The entertainment was where they really trumped the competition.  Best at sea. I loved the length of the shows also.  Shorter than most cruise lines (30 - 40 minutes).  Really does not interfere with other activities and long enough to really enjoy.  Makes dining easier to work in as well.

I am booked on the Meraviglia in March 2020.  It looks great too but I am really counting on Ocean Cay being open and functional.
