Barry ATL Posted August 11, 2019 #1 Share Posted August 11, 2019 I know the website states that the Cruise Cash is non-refundable. If the on-board account only has Cruise Cash and there is money left at the end of the cruise, can it be cashed out at the casino on the last night? FTLCruiseGal Posted August 11, 2019 #2 Share Posted August 11, 2019 You would have to put it all into the slots, spin a few times, and then cash it out. The important thing to remember is to spin the slots.

Sort of like the (very) old "vacation club" accounts people used to open at a bank. We have been adding a little here and there as time goes buy. We are at the point that I am not sure if we are going to spend it all, so I just wanted to confirm we have an exit plan for the money.
Bases5 Posted August 11, 2019 #4 Share Posted August 11, 2019 We are one's to do what you are saying. We still put a CC down as backup so we don't have to deal with guest service that last morning. You go to the casino and cash your cruise cash the last night and drain your account. If their happens to be a random charge that has not posted or you grab a drink later that last night you account is still covered. Carnival applies your money this way. Non refundable OBC first Cruise Cash Refundable OBC Finally your CC
Purvis1231 Posted August 11, 2019 #5 Share Posted August 11, 2019 Cruise cash is a maximum of $500.00 so few people will have trouble not spending all of this. If a person has any doubt that he/she will use then just use a cash account.
Joebucks Posted August 11, 2019 #6 Share Posted August 11, 2019 No point forcing yourself to spend a certain amount or limiting yourself to make it "feel all-inclusive". I've seen enough people forget to cash out.
Shaded Lady Posted August 11, 2019 #7 Share Posted August 11, 2019 (edited) We did this on our June Vista cruise... DH & I are not big spenders onboard... I had budgeted about $600 to spend onboard so we could buy what we want but we don't drink, I already budgeted for the specialty restaurants and nothing appealed in the duty free shops. Then, because of issues with our cruise, they gave us $400 OBC while onboard (this was the first Vista cruise with the propulsion issues). As a result I had over $800 left unspent in my account... I took most of it out 2 days before the end of the cruise, and just went the last night to the casino and cashed out the rest. Easy Peasy!
