cherylroslyn Posted September 4, 2019 #1 Share Posted September 4, 2019 I'm wondering what everyone's experience has been. I used to think that they comped the room and let me bring additional guests if I wanted to. Now it seems they want a lot of money for the third guest who will be a three year old. Maybe they changed it, but in the past I went on a cruise with two friends and we all just paid taxes. Now Im looking at paying thousands for the three year old in my comped room. Is this normal? proggieus Posted September 4, 2019 #2 Share Posted September 4, 2019 I have booked two comped cruises for 3 people and have only paid taxes and port fees however both were booked during KSF and my daughter is only 9.

That is only because of the KSF promotion. I have never had the 3rd person comped. The rate also depends on how busy that cruise is, it can vary greatly from ship to ship or week to week. Casino Comp Chick Posted September 5, 2019 #4 Share Posted September 5, 2019 You have to book a Kids sail free promo (under 12 years old) otherwise it’s just a regular 3rd/4th person fare.
MadamG2U Posted September 5, 2019 #5 Share Posted September 5, 2019 I take my parents in my comped room and I've always had to pay for the third person
sandebeach Posted September 9, 2019 #6 Share Posted September 9, 2019 I upgraded from a comped interior for two, to a junior suite. The grandkids were the 3rd and 4th guest. One child is 9 and the baby is 6 months old. I paid about $350 per child as the 3rd and 4th guest. This was on a 3-day Navigator sailing last month. PigsCanFly Posted September 9, 2019 #7 Share Posted September 9, 2019 We always pay something for a 3rd guest on our comped cruises. It is usually our son (25 yo) but we are often allowed to apply casino comps for the third person when available. Our cruises cost us less than $1000 including 3 each of: port fees, taxes, pre-paid gratuities and the additional 3rd person charge on a 7 or 8 day cruise.
