I would not refer to myself as “Atlantic Coast” - because Long Island Sound and then Long Island (that dreary, hideous amalgam of commuter suburbs) lie between CT and the Atlantic. I do, however, have to acknowledge an acceptable aspect of Long Island —- it will serve as a breakwater to protect CT should a tsunami threaten the East Coast. Much as New Jersey exists to protect Philadelphia. haha, East Bay in general maybe not, but Berkeley might be considered so. Anyway, I was thinking in terms of Wayne's World! 😀😀 (maybe not the most sophisticated of movies!).

IMneverHO :), well said. I wouldn't want to stay in/at one of those AI resorts either. New York City? You betcha 🙂 Edited September 15, 2019 by clo

Kate P.C Posted September 26, 2019 #55 Share Posted September 26, 2019 Oh, both! Port days to have fun, explore, swim, drink cocktails on the best beaches of the world, swim with doplhins, and sea days to relax by the pool, or with a nice spa treatment. Mike981 Posted September 26, 2019 #57 Share Posted September 26, 2019 I like a mix of both and really enjoy watching the port activity from my balcony. One of my favorite to watch was in LA, just amazed by all the activity and how it all flowed.
