Pacific Princess Buffet

Hi. We’re considering a cruise on Pacific Princess next year. We haven’t done set dining in over a decade. I realize the buffet will be quite small, but is it open every night?

Thanks. I had it in my head that it doubled as a specialty restaurant some nights.

The two specialty restaurants are one deck up over the buffet. They alternate which nights they are open and are on the port and starboard sides.

Thanks...I knew there was something in my brain about alternating restaurants.

Cruise Junky you are not crazy.   Not sure if they do it any longer but yes some nights they did have a specialty restaurant of sorts.   Did not cost anything extra but I believe we did have to make reservations.   Had a limited menu that I think changed from day to day.   Tables had table cloths on them and had table service.

Does the Pacific Princess buffet have a grill-to-order in the center like the same style Oceania "R" ships?

Hi,  Not a grill to order but specialty items.  Enjoy, we had a great time on her recently.

It was (is?) called The Bistro.

 

No reservations were needed.
