3 night dining package

Has anyone been able to get a courtesy reservation for the second night with the 3 night package?  The website says they will make a reservation for night one or night two.

When I go into my calendar on the cruise planner it tells me I have a dinner reservation but not the actual restaurant. If you find a way to find out please share.

A couple months ago we booked 3 night packages on 3 different cruises online.  We were able to choose night one or two, and a time, for each.  The only thing we couldn't choose in advance was the restaurant.

 

Regardless, if you go to one of the restaurants when you board they will likely set up what you'd like.

 

We chose night # 2 for each FYI🙂

When I booked the 3 night package I chose night 2 online.  Our experience on Vision was that no reservation was actually made and you choose the restaurant once on board.  Because we are D+, I asked if we could move the first night of the 3 night package back to later in the cruise so we could use our BOGO on nights 1 and 2 and we were allowed to do so.

We have a package on every cruise. The last 2 or 3 years there has never been any pre reservation, when we were on Symphony we were told pre reservations have been discontinued on Oasis class because so many, most, people change night one . We never use  a package night until the third or forth day, usually have a 12 or 14 night cruise.  Last cruise on Symphony we had the BOGO, the 3 night, and 5 night. First package night was on night 3.

You should be able to change once onboard.

As soon as we get on the ship, we go to Chops and make our reservations for the week.
