Uber Fort Lauderdale to Holland America pier

I am staying at the Hyatt Place (17th/Convention Center) and want to take an Uber to the Holland America pier.  I have only used Uber once before, so fairly new at this and wanted to try it out.  

 

Any idea of the cost (should be pier 26 I think) and how hard it will be to get a ride for such a short trip?  Just 2 bags, so regular Uber should work.  Woule be around 11 am on a Saturday in Dec.

We took a taxi it was $11 + tip   that will give you something  to go by

It was 2yrs ago  so may be more now

$10-12 plus any tip you care to offer -- I always pull up both Uber and Lyft and compare prices; usually within pennies but sometimes one is a much better deal.

Thanks!  Getting close now.

 

I am really not worried about saving a $1 or 2, but rather I want to get more experience using Uber.  Figured this is a good time to do it, as I will have lots of time to get to the ship plus it is not a long ride.
